As the primary provider of medical services at GPC Oral & Facial
Surgery Center, Dr. Joseph Goth diagnoses and treats diseases, injuries,
and deformities associated with the oral and facial regions. He has
been in private practice in Western Pennsylvania for over 20 years
and has staff privileges in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Mercy
Hospital, UPMC Shadyside Hospital, and Sewickley Valley Hospital.
Dr. Goth's professional skills encompass a vast range of Oral
and Maxillofacial Surgery to include:
- Dentoalveolar and wisdom teeth surgery
- Dental implant surgery
- Surgical and nonsurgical treatment of TMJ disorders
- Major jaw reconstruction and orthognathic surgery

In addition, his areas of expertise expand to the realms of skin care
and laser treatment involving skin refinement and laser hair removal.
Dr. Goth is also a firm advocate and supplier of Pharmanex Nutritional
Supplementation, an anti-aging and nutritional system, which greatly increases

Dr. Goth is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial
Surgeon. He graduated from Grove City College with a BS in Biology, earned
his DMD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, and
was selected for a fellowship in Anesthesia at the University Hospital
of Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Goth was the first resident at the University
of Pittsburgh's Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) to
pioneer the double degree program, becoming the first OMFS resident to
achieve his MD at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
Dr. Goth has devoted his life's work to developing his medical skills
and, more importantly, building patient confidence in all aspects of oral
and maxillofacial procedures, including anesthetic alternatives and management
for all age groups such as complete general anesthesia, IV sedation, conscious
sedation, nitrous oxide, and local anesthesia.
A large part of Dr. Goth's professionalism comes from his medical expertise,
balanced by his patient-friendly manner and caring approach. Patient respect
and trust are his top priorities, and he takes great pride in the compliments
and referrals he receives, not to mention the accolades for his trusted
